One year anniversary MRI scan

Today I had my 1 year MRI scan. The tumor was located around my optic nerve and pressing into my brain stem. The latest images show very little tumor left in that area and it is well scarred from radiation.

Before my meeting with the doctors, I went down to the radiation center to find the two ladies that gave me my treatments. I found Jackie and Cong doing there jobs as usual. It was nice to see them and let them know I was doing all right.
Dr. Harsh and Dr. Soltys were very pleased with the results. Dr. Harsh didn't need to see me for 18 months (June of 2011) and Dr. Soltys will see me again in September of 2010. My wife and I are very excited too. I have been cleared for diving again. Dr. Harsh said my skull is solid again.
I didn't realized how nervous I was about getting the results until after the meeting. I could have fallen down and slept on the floor after hearing the good news.
