The tumor measured 3.1cm x 2.5cm. It had pressed my pituitary up against my brain and it has significantly pressed into my brain stem.

Jan 12 2010 MRI with contrast150 viewsThis image shows that there is very little tumor left after surgery. The remaining tumor is not solid and it is well scarred from radiation. This is very good news. My skull is solid again and I can go back to diving.

On the right is the 1 year later image showing very little residual tumor. Most importantly, notice how nice and round my brain stem is on the right-hand image and how compressed it was by the tumor.
